The Google Search Console is among the best and most crucial SEO tools. Google offers webmasters a free tool called Google Search Console (also referred to as Google Webmaster Tools).
You may use the tools and reports provided by Google Search Console to learn more about what Google knows about your website, enhance how well it performs in search results, and solve issues.

How to get your website on Google Search Console
The first step is to sign up for a Google Search Console account, add your website, and confirm that you are the owner of it.
Here are the steps:
If you already have a Google account, you may log in without having to establish one; otherwise, you must first create an account before you can log in.
Step 1: Create an account with Google Search Console
Go to Google Search Console and click Start Now

Note: You may log in using your Google Analytics account if you already have one. Having a Google search console and analytics under the same Google account is always a smart practice.
Step 2: Add your website
Click Add Property by clicking the Search Property dropdown.
Enter your website’s URL and click continue.
Note: Google treats http:// and https:// URLS differently as well as http://www and http:// (without www). These 4 websites are distinct in Google’s opinion. For additional details, read this guide on a www or without a www.
Enter one of the variations for the time being, and after it has been verified, repeat the process to add all four variations to your website.
Step 3: Verify ownership of your website
The next step is to verify who owns the website. There are five basic ways to do this:
HTML File Verification
You must download the provided HTML file and upload it to the website’s root folder if you choose this technique. This is often located in the public HTML folder.
After uploading, you may choose the “Verify” option to go on to the next step.
Note: The file needs to always be kept in the website’s root folder. When the file is deleted, website ownership is also deleted.
If you decide to use this verification technique, you must copy the meta tag provided by Google and add it to your website’s <head> section.
You may add the verification code in the Google Verification Code field if you are using the Yoast SEO plugin by choosing:
Yoast SEO > GENERAL > WEBMASTER TOOLS
The third method is the simplest and my personal favorite.
All you need to do is click the “Verify” button if Google Analytics is already installed on your website and your Google Account is used for both GA and GSC.
Google Tag Manager
Identical to Google Analytics You can automatically check Google Search Console and whether the Google Tag Manager script is already installed in your website’s head section.
Domain name provider
You may verify the ownership of a website by changing your DNS settings if you are unable to use any of the techniques mentioned above. I wouldn’t advise using this method if you’re not technically savvy, since you’ll need to know how to change the DNS settings for your domain. It might be best to seek your domain provider‘s help in this situation.
Step 4: Repeat the process to add ALL website variations
Repeat this process for each version of your website’s address once you’ve added and verified one.
This means that if https is enabled on your website, you must add and verify each of the following four instances:

You may verify your web properties’ ownership status and add, remove, or modify the persons who have access to them by going to SETTINGS.
